POS Meets Watch-it: The Future for Retailers

POS Meets Watch-it: The Future for Retailers

MADIC UK, a leading provider of point-of-sale (POS) solutions and BigBrother International, a world leader in smart security technology, are proud to announce the launch of a powerful new integration designed specifically for the mobility retail market.

The integration seamlessly links POS data with the corresponding CCTV footage in real time, enabling fuel retailers to automatically match every sale with the corresponding video recording, strengthening security, supporting loss prevention, and delivering valuable insights into day-to-day operations.

This link between transactional data and image data such as license plate recognition allows users to look for specific events rather than trawling through hours of data. Examples of specific events could include cancelled transactions, products sold or corrected payments. This saves retailers huge amounts of time and allows them to check and analyse their sales process effectively.

Watch-It by BigBrother is designed on the principle of integration – the solution allows retailers and staff to easily identify events and gives them the evidence they need to take the right action.

A great example of this is an unpaid transaction. Watch-it allows retailers to identify the reason behind the unpaid transaction, be it a customer mistake, staff error, staff fraud or customer theft and provides them with the information they need to take the appropriate action.

“With this integration, fuel retailers can immediately gain greater visibility and control over their operations,” said Aart van Rooijen, CEO, BigBrother International. “The ability to connect transaction data with visual evidence transforms how operators prevent losses, monitor activity, and streamline processes.”

“This partnership combines the best of POS and security technology to deliver tangible benefits for our customers,” said Adrian Felton, Managing Director, MADIC UK. “By uniting secure transactions with clear video evidence, we are equipping retailers with the tools they need to operate more intelligently and securely.”

With the increasing complexity of the mobility hub there is a growing need to secure and control activities, customer journeys and transactions. Staff no longer have visual contact with the forecourt and are often multitasking as service champions in the shop. A higher level of control in combination with a progressive way of automating processes brings value to the staff on site and allows them to dedicate more time to enhancing the customer experience.

The solution is available now and has been developed to meet the needs of fuel retailers seeking to improve security and operational efficiency. For more information contact Hendrik van der Velde sales@bigbrother.nl
